Level 1, Unit 1 Curriculum
Classroom Materials Needed:
Each student needs the following:
• Pre-cut 2-1/2” strips (by 18” long) of quilting cotton fabric in a variety of colors and patterns
• Quilting cotton for pillow backing
• Quilt batting – (1) 18” x 18” piece
• 1/2 yard muslin or other inexpensive woven fabric for pillow form
• Polyfil stuffing
Classroom Tools Needed:
• Acrylic ruler, cutting mat, and rotary cutter (for instructor only)
• Hera marker and/or Frixion pens
• Quilt basting spray
• Ruler
• Iron
• Quarter inch presser foot
• Universal presser foot
• Clover Hot Ruler Press Perfect
• Point turner
